I feel like her a lot, just sawing away. I’ve carried this BBC footage around for a while as an illustration of a specific kind of loneliness I feel sometimes.

She came up the other morning again for me, I felt like her in my living room. I went to the studio later and wrote this song. I placed it over the footage and thought I would share it with you.

I didn’t realize until I was editing the video that I had forgotten about the robot orangutan. His reveal almost perfectly lined up with the line “have you seen anyone at all?”

How did I forget about him? I guess I only had a few seconds of a youtube screencapture saved on my phone all this time. I ripped the clip in its entirety to make this music video. I cried when he showed up, naturally, but don’t know why yet. Will have to make another song.
